Écrire en français Exhibition By AF Paris
The "Écrire en français : Histoire de langues, voyages de mots" exhibition, organized by the Alliance Française de Paris, highlights the richness and diversity of Francophone literature by showcasing the journeys of 100 authors from around the world who have chosen French as their language of expression.
Through carefully selected quotations from their works and exclusive written, and vivid portraits illustrated by Raphaëlle Macaron, the exhibition immerses visitors in the personal and literary landscapes of these writers. It explores the themes of identity, language, and cultural exchange, demonstrating how French has become a tool for storytelling and communication beyond its geographical origins.
Curated by Bernard Magnier, in collaboration with Sabyl Ghoussoub, this exhibition offers a captivating journey through the voices of contemporary and historical authors, celebrating the power of words and the diversity of Francophone literature across continents.
