Once a month, Wednesday evening
A French film screening is held every two months at Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur and every two months at Pisco Bar, alternating
between the two venues. Each session highlights a diverse selection of French cinema, offering a rich cultural and linguistic
experience.
Every two months, Saturday mornings
Every two months on Saturday mornings, AFKL presents French films tailored for younger audiences, including children and teens. These
screenings are designed to be both educational and entertaining.
Every two months, Saturday, 9.45am or 10.15am
Held in French, this storytelling session is chosen especially for children—but it also delights anyone curious to immerse themselves in the
language. French albums (picture books) are brought to life with live musical readings by professional actor Grégory, while the
illustrations are projected on screen. After the session, children can enjoy a relaxing coloring activity inspired by the story, or stay for
a chat with Grégory.
Once a month, Wednesday evening
Held monthly on Wednesdays from 7 PM to 9 PM, these informal gatherings provide an opportunity for French language enthusiasts and
students to practice speaking French in a relaxed environment. It's a perfect setting to enhance conversational skills and meet fellow
Francophiles.
Every two months
AFKL regularly hosts art exhibitions, showcasing works from both local and French artists. These exhibitions offer insights into
various artistic expressions and often align with cultural themes held dearly by AFKL.
